The service
AIM OFFICE offers office apps that run in the browser: AIM Docs, AIM Sheets, AIM Slides and AIM PDF, plus AIM Mail, for reading and sending email from your own accounts. It is provided by Biomag S.L.U. (see the legal notice).
Your account
The apps can be used without an account. For AIM Mail, AIM Cloud and the Pro plan you need one, which is created the first time you sign in with the link we send to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. To use AIM OFFICE you must be at least 14 years old. To purchase a paid plan you must be of legal age or have the authorisation of your legal representative.
Free plan
Free, with no time limit. It includes the office apps and AIM Mail with the features described on the pricing page. We may improve or change features; if we withdraw a significant one from the free plan, we will give you at least 30 days' notice.
Pro plan
Six-monthly subscription (€14.94 every 6 months, equivalent to €2.49 a month) or annual (€23.88 a year, equivalent to €1.99 a month), VAT included, which adds AIM Cloud (50 GB) and advanced PDF. The order is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, merchant of record, which sells you the plan, issues the invoice and processes your payment data as an independent controller; by purchasing you also accept Paddle’s purchase terms, which you will see at checkout.
- It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel whenever you like from your account; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period and you won't be charged again.
- If we change the price, we will notify you at least 30 days before the next renewal and you will be able to cancel beforehand.
- Withdrawal and refunds: see refunds and withdrawal.
Your documents
What you create or edit is yours. We acquire no rights over your content. If you use AIM Cloud, you only authorise us to store it and serve it back to you.
AIM Mail
On the Free plan you can connect up to 3 email accounts, and on Pro up to 50. You may only connect accounts that are yours or that you are authorised to use. AIM Mail works with your email provider: its sending limits, spam filter and terms still apply, and if your provider is unavailable, that account will also be unavailable in AIM Mail.
AIM Calendar
AIM Calendar can be used in your browser without an account. To connect calendar accounts or subscribe to calendars by their address you need your AIM account: on the Free plan, up to 3 accounts and 10 subscriptions, and on Pro, up to 50 of each. You may only connect accounts that are yours or that you are authorised to use. What you store “On this device” lives only in your browser: download copies from time to time, because we cannot recover it.
AIM Notes
AIM Notes can be used in your browser without an account. To have your notes on all your devices you need your AIM account: on the Free plan, up to 100 MB of encrypted notes, and on Pro, up to 1 GB. Because you encrypt them with a passphrase that only you know, you are responsible for remembering it: if you forget it, nobody can recover that copy. What you store only in your browser has no copy on our servers: export your notes from time to time.
Beta apps and shared links
Apps marked “Beta” already work and we keep improving them: their look or features may change. Keeping what they store in your browser is your responsibility: use their backup.
To share with a link (AIM Sign, AIM Bookings, AIM Send, AIM Chat and AIM Meetings) you need your AIM account. With the Free plan, up to 50 links and 2 GB, and transfers of up to 1 GB that last at most 7 days; with Pro, up to 500 links and 20 GB, and transfers of up to 5 GB that last at most 30 days. Anyone who has a link can use it: share it only with the people you choose. You are responsible for keeping your recovery code safe.
AIM Sign provides a simple electronic signature with evidence (verified email address, time, IP address and document fingerprint). It is not a qualified electronic signature. If a regulation requires a specific type of signature, check before using it.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful activities, to store illegal content in AIM Cloud, to send unsolicited or bulk email with AIM Mail, to try to access other people's accounts, or to overload or attack the service. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, notifying you unless the law or security prevents it.
Notices of illegal content
AIM provides a data hosting service: short links and links pages are created by their users, who are responsible for their content. If you see a link or page that you think is illegal, notify us using the “Report this page” button or the link's address ending in /denunciar (for example, /e/nombre/denunciar): state the reason, explain why it is illegal and, if you wish, give your name and email (we use the email to send you the acknowledgement of receipt and the decision; they are not required to report child sexual abuse).
A member of the team reviews each notice without undue delay, diligently and non-arbitrarily, and decides whether to disable the content or keep it. If it is disabled, they notify its creator with a statement of reasons (what is restricted, the facts, whether it comes from a notice, that a person and not an automated system decides, the legal or contractual ground and how to appeal) and the person who reported it, if they left their email. No automated decisions are used. You can contest the decision by writing to legal@biomag.es, which is also the single point of contact for authorities and for users (arts. 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065); you always keep the right to go to court.
Personal data of other people
If you use features that process other people’s data (Bookings, Sites forms, Newsletters, Minutes AI), you are the controller and AIM is the processor. This is governed by the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms, and by the privacy policy.
Availability and liability
We work to make sure the service always works and that no save loses content, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors. We recommend that you keep copies of your important documents.
Nothing in these terms limits your right to be compensated for damages that AIM causes you through breach of its obligations, nor the rights that the law recognises for consumers. For users who are not consumers, AIM’s liability is limited to the amount paid in the previous 12 months, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Changes to these terms
AIM may modify these terms because of legal, technical or feature changes. It will notify you 30 days in advance by email; if you do not accept, you can cancel at no cost and receive the proportional part of the paid period that you have not enjoyed.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account. We may end the service with 60 days' notice; if you have Pro, we will refund the unused proportion.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence, go to the consumer services of your autonomous community or to an accredited alternative dispute resolution body. AIM has not adhered to any alternative dispute resolution body for consumer disputes.
